Van City Bound!

Well the three of us are all packed up and ready to go. We are heading out to the lower mainland for the weekend and upcoming week. We will be spending Canada Day at Stanley Park and will be heading down to Bellingham for the 4th of July. It's always a great time out there and it's such a beautiful place to visit. Vancouver Ho!

Summertime and my weasel is crazy......

I don't know what happens to animals with the turn of seasons. There often seems to be some instinctual and involuntary changes that take place at these times. Birds fly south, rabbits turn white, cows get pregnant.... and Wesley our pet ferret, turns into a scathing little deviant, bless him. He gets 'the wind under his tail' as my Granny says, and starts feeling 'stroppy.' Although he is comic relief and entertaining at most times I can't help but wonder what the condition of my house and flower beds would be in his absense.

with a little help from my friends

Well here I am 'blogging'... joining millions in this technological world of ours, in an attempt to stay connected and feel in-touch with one another. Katherine truly inspired me in doing this and convinced me that this was the perfect way for friends to keep up do date with each other's goings on.
