Neil has drug out some of the Christmas decorations and I'm finding them strewn throughout my house. It's not even December yet! On the first of December I put Christmas sheets on my bed- have done for years, and THEN the decorations can come out.
When I was a kid, I had a sweet set of christmas sheets that I used all year round, except they were made of plastic. I don't really know why my mom always insisted that I have plastic sheets on my bed, but oh well. Recently I've graduated from those sheets, and now christmas really isn't the same without that crinkly cold feeling. Maybe Kris Crinkle will be kind to me this year!
So my parents were in town yesterday and I had to leave that at my house alone for a bit... I go downstairs after they've left and guess what I found? My bed made with brand new sheets and the traditional mini lights hanging above the bed. It's like I have the best parents ever!!
Christmas sheets...hmmm, let me see. Nope, I never had any of those, but I did have a sweet set of charlie brown sheets when I was a kid
ReplyDeleteOh Laura I had that same problem when I got married! I had to settle for Christmas pillow cases and be happy with that. Maybe Santa will bring sheets!
