It's my ten year reunion this summer and I haven't decided if I'm going or not. (Only because we'll be living away for the summer and I'd have to make the long drive back for it, if we were home it wouldn't be a question.)
Did you go? Did you not go? Are you glad you went? Do you wish you had gone?
Let's have it.
Didn't go, didn't care. Maybe when it's 20...which is only 3 years away...yikes, when did I get that old? At 10 years, I didn't feel like that much had changed, and the people I really cared about from high school I was still in contact with somewhat regularly. I Thought that at 20 years I would feel like I had more to show...isn't that what a high school reunion is all about. Showing off what you have accomplished?
ReplyDeleteWHAT?!!! C'mon, riding in the parade?!!! It doesn't get much better than that!!! ha ha! I know with blogging and facebook now, you're always in touch with most of the people from high school. It seems pointless. But I still think it's a fun thing to do. I'm looking forward to it!
ReplyDeleteI forgot it was our reunion this year. I think you should come it will be fun.
ReplyDeletemy high school doesn't do reunions and I kind of wish they did...so be grateful you have one to go to and GO!
ReplyDeleteI didn't go--it was Laura's wedding that summer and I couldn't make 2 12-hour drives in one month. No way. And I've been a little sad about it ever since. I feel like I missed out. It might be different for me, though, since I live so far away, and haven't kept in touch with a lot of people.
ReplyDeleteI helped plan mine, so I was definitely there. It was a lot more fun then I thought it would be! Which by the way your husband missed out on!
ReplyDeletewhen's your reunion? I'm coming home a few times throughout the summer, we could be travel buddies :)
ReplyDeleteLet's get this party planned! We're coming up for the 24th, can't wait to see ya!
ReplyDelete6 hours is not very far!! You have to go!! Then you can come home and see me too!!
